Printer Problems

Produce Information

Firstly printers are great when they work, but when they don’t it can be extremely frustrating. Many people don’t use their inkjet printers often enough and this can lead to problems with dried-up ink blocking the nozzles causing horizontal streaks on prints and poor or wrong colours. Doing a simple head clean and nozzle check in properties on your computer or through your printers menu can in most cases improve the print quality. If your ink is getting low, your printer should give you lots of advanced warning before it actually stops. If you print only occasionally the remaining ink or toner might last another couple of weeks, if not months. With laser printers a trick is to remove the cartridge that’s running low and shake it gently from side to side. The type of paper you use can affect your print quality and might be letting you down.
